Abstract
Parapharyngeal space lipoma is an extremely rare tumour of the parapharynx. It is usually asymptomatic until it reaches a certain state in which patient may present with snoring, dyspnoea and dysphagia among others. Radiologic investigations like computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging play key role in the management of parapharyngeal lipomas. Surgical excision via transoral or external approach remains the treatment option. We report a 20-year-old man with neck swelling, snoring and dysphagia due to parapharyngeal lipoma who underwent transoral surgical excision.
